Draftfcb have created this fun app. Type in an address - maybe your favourite restaurant - and the place shows up in the snowglobe. (You don't have to use your home address if you don't want to.)
It works for Australia and several other countries.

(Looks like the app is a mashup using Google Streetview, or Google Maps if Streetview is not available).
